O'Connor Constructors has completed the conversion of a former convent and chapel into an expanded television broadcasting facility for Boston Catholic Television in Watertown, MA. The addition to the current structure included two state-of-the-art broadcasting studios, technical support areas, editing rooms, and office space. The existing chapel was renovated to allow for the broadcast of daily live Mass.

For this project O'Connor teamed with Janson Design Group of New York, NY, a leader in the field of broadcast architecture and acoustic design. O'Connor Constructors participated in the project as construction manager, providing budgeting and value engineering services to facilitate the initial decision to purchase the property through agreement on a guaranteed maximum price and construction. During this project O'Connor Constructors executed a total renovation to the existing facility as well as building two additions to the structure.
