As a national leader in power industry installation, construction and maintenance, Thomas O'Connor & Company is selected to build the Boston Edison Generating Station in Weymouth, Massachusetts.

Thomas O'Connor & Company branches into mechanical piping and forms the Beacon Piping Company.

Thomas O'Connor & Company builds the Dion Science Center at UMass-Dartmouth.

1990

Thomas O'Connor & Company provides major structural and cosmetic renovations to the historic Harvard Boat House.

Thomas O'Connor & Company and Beacon Piping join forces to successfully relocate the water intake system at Gillette World Shaving Headquarters in South Boston. The $20 million project was a necessary step for the accomplishment of the Central Artery Project.

The Division of Capital Asset Management selects O'Connor Constructors to build this award-winning 425,000 sq. ft. courthouse in the center of Boston, Massachusetts.

O'Connor Constructors is selected as part of a joint venture to construct the award-winning Reebok World Headquarters.

Originally a brownfield adjacent to the Massachusetts Turnpike now considered the gateway to Boston, Brighton Landing is home to many businesses including the New Balance Shoe Company.

O'Connor Constructors continues to provide MIT with quality construction management and upgrades to the highly technical Laser Infermometer Gravitational Wave Observatory.

O'Connor Constructors, well known for providing construction management to the power industries, is selected by Distrigas of Massachusetts to install the High Pressure Expansion unit at the LNG facility in Everett, Massachusetts.

O'Connor Constructors was selected as part of a joint venture to build the $63 million Worcester Vocational High School.
