O'Connor Corporation assisted with design review, procurement and installation service for two (2) simple cycle Rolls Royce Trent 60 Gas Turbines and SCRs for the 120MW expansion of the Thomas A Watson Generating Station in Braintree, MA.

O'Connor was responsible for all aspects the mechanical portion of the project. Specifically O'Connor was responsible for layout and installation of the entire power island (inlet filter house, gas turbine, and generator), the SCR ductwork, catalyst and stack for the two simple cycle units. In addition O'Connor was responsible for all turbine and balance of plant piping, all balance of plant equipment skids and tanks as well as pre-commissioning services and startup support. The project required detailed scheduling and careful coordination because of limited lay down area and in many cases just in time delivery.
